As I head into my 5th year teaching multimedia at my school site, HTMMA, I wonder what has changed and what has stayed the same. Technology is moving at a faster rate each year, and I understand that I teach many standard principles but also something new each year. I've tried a variety of projects over the years, from digital storytelling to reverse engineering, media literacy to Photoshop basics, Flash programming to HTML coding.
When I try and imagine what will be important to teach students in the future, I believe that the teaching them how to work collaboratively, efficiently, and be innovative will be most important.
