A Place for Reflective Practices from Classroom Work

Picture
Here you can find links to meaningful work we've been asked to create as students in our program constantly reflecting on our teaching and learning practice.

As I head into my 5th year teaching multimedia at my school site, HTMMA, I wonder what has changed and what has stayed the same.  Technology is moving at a faster rate each year, and I understand that I teach many standard principles but also something new each year. I've tried a variety of projects over the years, from digital storytelling to reverse engineering, media literacy to Photoshop basics, Flash programming to HTML coding.

When I try and imagine what will be important to teach students in the future, I believe that the teaching them how to work collaboratively, efficiently, and be innovative will be most important.

My class digital portfolio is a great place to visit as it reflects what is happening in our project-based classroom currently:https://sites.google.com/a/hightechhigh.org/zoe-randall-digital-portfolio/
